Life as I know it...... for now

Hi Everyone.

If you don't already know me my name is Gina. The owner, founder and treat master behind Pima Paws. It's pretty much a one woman show and I do it all. I love making the treats for your amazing pets. For those that don't already know it Pima Paws is my side hustle, I have a regular full time job that I do 5 days a week. On my days off, Friday is my baking day and then off I go to sell at the farmer's market on Saturday.

I was able to use some of my planned time off to be able to go to Rilito Park Farmers Market on Sundays. There I was able to get to know many of you and it has been truly amazing. Thank so much for your support. Right now with me having limited time off for the remainder of the year and everyone else trying to use their time off by the end of the year I'm not sure how often I will actually be able to make it out to the market on Sunday. I am hoping to find someone that would be able run my booth for me on Sundays, so we can continue to share our great treats

So at this time if you need any treats and I'm not at the market, please feel free to message or email me. I would be happy to get treats delivered to you after I'm off of work if you like. You and your furry friends are all so important to me and if I can do anything to keep them happy that is what is behind everything I do.

Our Brave Four Legged Friends

I’m proud to announce something that is really special to me. Several months ago with President Trump created a national hero in the canine Conan, who cornered Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. This gave me a wonderful idea of naming my treats after some of the bravest dogs in history. These dogs that have helped our soldiers and put their lives on the line without hesitation.

In honoring them, I am also hoping that I also highlight the brave men and women who served or have served in military putting their lives on the line sometimes even far from home away from their family. Coming from a family with a rich military background this is the least I can do. I would love to someday be able to meet some of our local hero's here at Davis Monthan.

One of my favorite military dogs is Sgt Stubby the most decorated American war dog in U.S. Military history. He served during World War I and became a mascot for Georgetown University. Just look at his picture he was truly amazing.

Check out my Sgt Stubby's Spinach Chicken treat, Conan's Carob Canberry, Cairo's amazing smelling Cranberry Apple and Balto Butternut Squash. These treats your pets will truly love and with that "One Treat is Never Enough."

A Spark

Entrepreneurs, we all seem to be in a similar boat as to why we go down this rugged path. Although we become from different backgrounds and have different and unique personalities, we all seem to want the same things - independence, freedom and to make a difference; and often, to share our talents with the world.

But as an entrepreneur, how does one come to start a pet treat business? Well, it probably starts with pets! From the beginning of my earliest childhood memories, I have always had pets in my life. They have enriched my life immensely. I’ve had the usual rabbit, cats, dogs, gerbils, and horses to the more unusual and my latest pet - a mini pig.

I may never have before thought of myself as an entrepreneur, but I have always known I wanted to do something with my life then involve pets. It has taken me many years to put all the pieces together, but finally, it all came together as I decided to combine my love of baking with my love for animals. As a result, I now get to bring joy to pets and pet parents alike by providing wonderful healthy organic treats for my animal friends. Of course, all of the treats are created with the freshest ingredients as well as love and care in every measured spoonful.

Once I knew in my heart that it was time to do this and launch my business, I immediately had a name for it. Then a wonderful friend came along to help me get things going. Other friends were there to give their support and with that, I had the courage I needed to launch.

I also knew that I had wanted to share this journey with family and was extremely happy when I reached out to my son Glenn and he readily excepted. Other family members have since come on board. So here I welcome all of you, my fellow animal lovers to the Pima Paws Bakery - the business started with family and friends at its core.

Pima Paws Bakery would love to get to know you and your pets. We look forward to building lifelong friendships. Have any ideas of what your dogs would like in a treat - we are happy to make a custom order for you.

Please feel free to share stories of your pet and how they like their treats. We would love to hear and would love to have you share your videos on our Facebook Page.
